Hughlings Jackson Lecture: Mechanisms of Polarized Sorting in Neurons

The Neuro and McGill University are pleased to host Dr. Juan S. Bonifacino, Ph.D., Associate Scientific Director, Cell Biology and Neurobiology Branch (CBNB) of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), National Institutes of Health (NIH).

On May 22, 2018 Dr. Bonifacino will deliver the Hughlings Jackson Lecture at The Neuro.  Established in 1935, the Hughlings Jackson Lecture is The Neuro’s premier scientific lecture. It honors the legacy of British neurologist John Hughlings Jackson (1835-1911) who pioneered the development of neurology as a medical specialty. 

Dr. Bonifacino’s lecture is entitled “Mechanisms of Polarized Sorting in Neurons”. It will take place at 4 pm in the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre. A reception will follow.
