Veteran actor, writer, producer, TV host and director, Mary Walsh, DLitt'08, will join alumni and friends of McGill at a very special 50th anniversary Leacock Luncheon. Familiar to hundreds of thousands of Canadians as the creator and star of CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Walsh has appeared in numerous films and television series, including Little Dog, Republic of Doyle, Rookie Blue and Mambo Italiano. She wrote, produced and starred in the Gemini award winning Hatching, Matching and Dispatching. In 2017, she released her debut novel, Crying for the Moon, to widespread critical acclaim. Walsh is guaranteed to entertain with her quick wit and expert storytelling.
