Join us for our virtual Let’s Talk Cancer symposium!

This symposium is for senior high school students who are interested in learning about basic and clinical cancer research. The event will include a keynote speaker (Dr. Daniela Quail, Assistant Professor), an interactive panel discussion, and hands-on activities. During the panel discussion, the students will get a chance to interact with a post-doctoral researcher, senior scientist, a cancer survivor, and a genetic counsellor.

Let’s Talk Cancer symposiums provide your students with a unique opportunity to join a dialogue with local academic researchers about the most up-to-date understanding of cancer biology and how it can open new possibilities for treatment. As a participant in Let’s Talk Cancer, the students will step into the shoes of scientists and clinicians to understand how discoveries in the lab are leading to innovations in patient care.
