Macdonald Campus Newly-Admitted Graduate Student Orientation

The Macdonald Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (Mac OGS) and the Macdonald Campus Graduate Students’ Society (MCGSS) cordially invite Macdonald Campus graduate students starting their program in January for coffee and refreshments, at a special Welcome Session during the second week of classes.

Our Acting Associate Dean (Graduate Education), Prof. Jean-Benoit Charron, will officially welcome you and provide important information including where to find guidance and support on the road to completing your graduate degree at McGill, as well as information on the special programs and resources available for professional and academic development. Representatives from your Macdonald Campus Graduate Student Society will also be on hand say hello and talk about the services available to students at the Macdonald and downtown campuses.

New Macdonald Campus graduate students are also strongly encouraged to attend events at the Winter 2020 Graduate Orientation at McGill’s downtown Montreal campus on Monday, January 6th, including a Discover McGill information session with a Student Panel on “What I Wish I had Known Starting University.”
