Marie-Noëlle Choquette is an expressive flutist, distinguished by her “…magnificent, warm and voluptuous sound…dynamic and supremely expressive…” (Flute View, San Francisco). She has released three albums, won several awards and scholarships and has performed concerts from one end of the country to the other and abroad with her flute and guitar duo: Duo Beija-Flor. Creative, she has produced several multi-disciplinary shows including elements of music, poetry, dance, video, etc. Ms. Choquette has performed as a musician/actress for the Moulin à Musique for over 10 years, with whom she created the show Tableaux Musique, a finalist for the 2021 Opus awards. She has received several awards and grants from the Canada and Quebec Arts Councils. She holds a bachelor's degree in performance from the University of Montreal and a graduate degree in performance from Concordia University. She will complete a master's degree in early music performance (traverso) at McGill University in the spring of 2025.
