Montreal New Horizons Band | Open Chair Rehearsal

The Montreal New Horizons Band is a bilingual, intergenerational wind and percussion ensemble where anyone can come and learn or relearn to play a musical instrument. As part of the Journées de la culture, we're organizing a rehearsal where the public can join us and see what a wind orchestra rehearsal is like. At this special rehearsal, members of the public can bring their wind instruments and play along with the orchestra.

Come and see how our musicians work in an informal setting. Our musical directors will explain the musical concepts and demands placed on the musicians as they rehearse.
