Pap Test Clinic

We’re looking for student volunteers to get a *free Pap test at our clinic on Thursday, October 22nd from 10am to 1 p.m. You can book your appointment by calling the Student Wellness Hub at 514-398-6017.

The event is part of a training exercise at the Student Wellness Hub for the nursing team to increase capacity and to be able to offer these appointments more regularly. Appointments are approximately 20 minutes long.

Who performs a Pap test?

Your Pap test will be performed by a nurse & supervised by a doctor.

What does it cost?

Nothing – these clinics are free!

Who should get a Pap test?

The Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada recommends pap tests if you’re sexually active or 21 years or older, every 2-3 years.

Tips:

  • Book your appointment for a day when you are not having your period (menstruation).
  • Avoid sexual intercourse for at least 24 hours before your Pap test.

*Appointments are available to students who are eligible to use Student Services and have paid the Student Services Fee
