Research Data Governance at McGill

The Digital Research Services (DRS) Hub in the Office of the VP-RI is hosting an information session on research data governance at McGill. We will provide an overview of how research data governance fits into the research cycle and will highlight some of the opportunities (and challenges) of developing a data governance framework for McGill researchers.

This session will build on the 2023 publication of McGill’s Research Data Management (RDM) Strategy. We will introduce the next steps in implementing the RDM Strategy, which will involve the formation of a Research Data Governance Working Group. Further details about this group will be shared during the presentation.
