Seminar - Revenge of the Zombies: Lessons learned from cystic fibrosis

The immune system controls a myriad of pathogens that vary in virulence. While we often pay attention to virulent pathogens at the cost of ignoring the docile, attenuated bacteria (Zombies), I will discuss how the attenuated bacteria become problematic in chronic situations such as Cystic Fibrosis.
