Ivy Tolchinsky, M.A.- Recovery Coach,  Addictions Counselor and Group Facilitator. Member of CACCF (Canadian Addiction Counselor Certification Federation)

Ivy is passionate about recovery and has dedicated over 15 years of her career working in the field of addiction and treatment.  During that time she has dealt with a wide range of individuals at various stages in their recovery process; from newcomers (pre- and post-rehab) to those struggling with issues in later recovery. She also works with families and couples in the healing process.

She empowers people to use their lifestyle transition as a learning process to find new and fulfilling directions while maintaining sobriety. She believes everyone is naturally resilient and already possesses everything they need. It’s only a matter of accessing that strength and energy.

Ivy also helps individuals and professionals through career transition; taking stock of where they are currently, building a vision for the future, creating CV’s, marketing/networking and the job interview process. This can be particularly helpful to the recovering person who often finds him or herself needing or wanting to explore new career/job possibilities in sobriety.

She currently has a thriving counseling and coaching private practice in Montreal where she offers individual, face-face as well as phone and Skype sessions for those living outside of the area. She has created her own 7-step recovery coaching program, My Resilient Recovery, which she will be launching online in the fall of 2018.  This program is suitable as an aftercare program or for anyone wanting to boost their recovery to the next level. Ivy is also available for group sessions, presentations and workshops on a variety of topics.

Ivy has worked at a variety of treatment facilities including Edgewood Health Network Montreal, Freedom House, Chatsworth Pavilion as well as an Associate at LHH- Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions a global career transition organization.

As well, she is connected to a wide and rich network of interventionists, treatment facilities and other mental healthcare providers across Canada and the U.S.A.
