STARS: McGill's Reasoning and Learning Lab

Site visit with Joëlle Pineau, the recipient of the 2019 Governor General’s Innovation Awards. The research in the Reasoning and Learning Lab, co-directed by Professors Prakash Panangaden, Doina Precup, Joëlle Pineau, and Jackie Chi Kit Cheung, is broadly concerned with the study of probabilistic systems. The Learning Lab is located at 6666 St. Urbain St. Lunch will be served after the site visit at a nearby venue.

STARS (Scientists Talk About Research for Staff) is a series of special lunch-hour talks and visits to science related sites and institutes specifically for Faculty of Science support staff. The Dean of Science generously provides the lunches for the monthly STARS.
