This session will give you a comprehensive look at what to take into account before applying to grad school. It will include topics such as: cost of graduate studies; how to choose the right school and program; the differences between thesis and non-thesis programs; and how to choose between grad school and working after graduation.


Grad School II: Tackling the Application

This session will give you tips and strategies to help you put your application together. Some topics will include: the prerequisites of getting in; what the typical application procedures are; how to ask for reference letters; and how to find a supervisor.

Applying to grad school is a big decision, and once your grad school applications are underway, all kinds of questions can come up. This session will give you a comprehensive look at what questions to take into account before applying to grad school so that you can make an informed decision. We'll also cover typical application procedures and the expectations around them, as well as tips and tricks, including how to ask for reference letters and how to find a supervisor.
