Under Pressure: Stress management for better brain health

How does stress affect the brain and behaviour? What can you do to reduce and manage stress?

At this workshop, Dr. Anna Weinberg (Canada Research Chair in Clinical Neuroscience, Assistant Professor of Psychology at McGill) will discuss the neuroscience of stress as well as research-supported tips for stress management. Following the talk, stress researcher Aislinn Sandre (PhD candidate in Psychology) will lead an interactive discussion and activities focused on real-world application of the presented research.

A light lunch will be provided. The workshop will be targeted to students and postdocs, but all are welcome.
