2022 Scholastic Awards – Celebrating Student Excellence

The 2022 Scholastic Awards Reception on November 8th recognized more than 175 outstanding Macdonald undergraduate and graduate students. The Faculty awarded over $380,000 in named scholarships at the undergraduate level and more than $465,000 in fellowships and awards at the graduate level.

Environmental Biology students Ambar Maldonado Rodriguez and Tanis Short spoke on behalf of award recipients, thanking the 30 or so donors in attendance for their generous support. They both referenced how Mac Campus has been instrumental in creating the various opportunities and support they have experienced in their academic careers and thanked the community for making this possible.
