Apply to Attend the Annual Campus Mental Health Conference FREE!

If you’re studying teaching, nursing, social work, psychoeducation, psychology, or any other subject related to mental health, you may be eligible to attend the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health’s Annual Conference for FREE!

Les Office jeunesse internationaux du Québec (LOJIQ) wants to help McGill students attend this important meeting for postsecondary mental health practitioners in Ontario and Canada, with over 250 participants and leading mental health experts from across the country. The virtual event will take place on Tuesday November 3rd.

Full details on the application process are available in French here. Please note that the event will be in English and applications in English are also accepted. The application deadline is Tuesday October 27th.

Eligibility:

  • 18-35 years old
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Have a valid RAMQ card
  • Have lived in Quebec for at least one year

Students whose application is accepted will need to become a member of LOJIQ. Information is available on their website (please note this page is only available in French).

What’s covered?

Applicants will receive $110 to cover the cost of participation in the event. Once your application has been accepted you will need to register and LOJIQ will then provide the admission costs.

What do you need to include?

Applicants will need to provide:

  1. An up-to-date CV
  2. A short letter outlining your experience, motivations, and goals for participating in this project, as well as any takeaways you expect from participating in this event
