The CIRM team is growing!

CIRM is pleased to announce the arrival of two new research assistants to its team. Ophélie Proulx-Giraldeau (Events Manager) and Camille Delagrave-Ajduk (Communications Assistant) will actively participate in the development and smooth running of CRIEM's activities. The Centre welcomes them!

Ophélie Proulx-Giraldeau

Ophélie Proulx-Giraldeau is a second-year Master's student in French literature at McGill University's Département des littératures de langue française de traduction et de création (DLTC). Passionate about Quebec identity and the notion of identity fragmentation, she has, among other things, worked on the representation of the Grande noirceur in cinema and pursued research on the contribution of Dany Laferrière's work to defining Quebec identity. Ophélie is currently writing her dissertation on the Haitian-born Quebec author Émile Ollivier under the direction of Professor Michel Biron. She was also part of the organizing committee for the 2021 edition of the ADELFIES student conference entitled Aménager la liste.

Camille Delagrave-Ajduk

Camille is a student at McGill University studying for her bachelor's degree in cognitive science. A proud Montrealer, she is very interested in the city and its diversity, which initially attracted her to CRIEM. Interested in communication and research, Camille is happy to start her position as a communication assistant and to join the wonderful team at CRIEM. Outside of work and school, she enjoys writing poetry, collecting vinyl, and exploring Montreal by bike.
