Dr. Claire LeBlanc Reappointed Division Director of Pediatric Rheumatology

The Department of Pediatrics is happy to announce that Dr. Claire Leblanc, Associate Professor, has been renewed as Division Director of Pediatric Rheumatology for a five year term commencing April 1, 2018.

The external evaluators, the Review Committee and myself were all impressed by Dr. LeBlanc's strong leadership of her group over her first term. In particular we took note of her energy and enthusiasm, her positive support of colleagues through mentoring and an attention to wellness, and her pro-active responses to challenges faced. In addition her support of new initiatives that improve both clinical activities (e.g. Point of Care Ultrasound, external clinics at TCC and elsewhere)and academic efforts (e.g Fellows from East Africa) deserve noteworthy mention.
