Brownstein: Pandemic brings more challenges to Douglas Hospital
...Dr. Johan Cohen, a psychiatrist and head of the emergency room at the Douglas, has nothing but praise for the efforts of his fellow staffers.
“These are such difficult times for the patients and staff,” Cohen says. “At the beginning, we had no vaccines and we really had to come together to deal with it all. And then came the short staffing issues. Let’s just say we really had to learn to adapt quickly to ever-changing circumstances.”
