Help fight COVID-19 by joining the CanCOVID initiative

Published: 17 April 2020

McGill faculty with relevant expertise are encouraged to join the CanCOVID initiative, an expert community of Canadian COVID-19 researchers, clinical collaborators, and healthcare stakeholders.

Mandated by the Office of the Chief Science Advisor of Canada, CanCOVID seeks to connect national research efforts in order to support collaboration, coordination, and communication between those working on projects related to COVID-19. The goal is to optimize our collective response to this public health crisis.

Please note that participation in the network is currently restricted to verified experts in COVID-19 research and response. Anyone interested in joining the network, which uses the Slack platform, should complete this online form.

Once the moderators approve your membership, you will be able to join collaborators from across Canada on several channels, according to your own areas of interest and/or expertise. Please make sure you also join the “uni-McGill” channel to stay up to date on the latest developments on our campuses.

For any questions regarding the CanCOVID initiative, please contact Jean Saint-Vil in the Office of the Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation) at research [at] mcgill.ca.
