MMF students excel in Deloitte Synergy Challenge

Students in the McGill Desautels Master of Management in Finance (MMF) program showcased their financial prowess at the 6th Deloitte MMF Synergy Challenge on October 26. The challenge, an integral component of Associate Professor David Schumacher's FINE 688 course on Mergers and Acquisitions, saw enthusiastic participation from students eager to put their financial skills to the test, allowing students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios and devise innovative solutions.

Six standout students emerged victorious in the competition, demonstrating their exceptional financial acumen. The winning team comprised Juliette Hamel-Gauthier, Tarun Kaur, Megan Messias, Pierre-Luc Jaeger, Erick Dsa, and Faseeh Ur Rasool. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the guidance and support of Deloitte representatives Gérald Faustino, also a Desautels Global Expert, and Stefano Bramos from Value Creation Services.
