Renewal of the Tri-Agency Guide on Financial Administration (TAGFA)

RE: Renewal of the Tri-Agency Guide on Financial Administration (TAGFA)

Dear Colleagues,

As you are aware, the Tri-Agency has committed to implementing the new Tri-Agency Guide on Financial Administration (TAGFA) on April 1, 2020.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the implementation of the new TAGFA at McGill University will be deferred to June 1, 2020, so that we may adequately support the community in adapting to this new guide. In the interim, we will continue to rely on the 2017 Tri-Agency Financial Administration Guide in administering Tri-Agency grants.

Research Financial Management Services (RFMS) will organize training sessions to explain the implementation of the TAGFA changes in detail. The schedule for training sessions will be communicated at a later date.
