Research Associate (Neurodevelopmental Disorders Group under Dr. Xiaoqian Chai)

Primary duties:
The Research Associate will work independently and be responsible for leading experimental research projects in the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience lab, under the supervision of Dr. Xiaoqian Chai. His/her work will include: (1) Lead a new research project which applies neuroimaging and genetic analyse on large open-source pediatric data biobanks, and (2) Lead the experimental research team to implement a multimodal imaging project on memory development in autism.

The research associate is expected to undertake lead authorship on scientific journals articles and technical reports, and contribute to preparation, review, and submission of grants. He/she will work with collaborative teams on the multidisciplinary aspects of the research projects. The candidate will also participate in the supervision of full-time technician(s) and of graduate and summer trainees, if required.
