2011 Gairdner National Program Lecture

Dr. Jules Hoffman, winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Medicine, will deliver the Gairdner Lecture.

Speaker, Jules Hoffmann, 2011 Canada Gairdner International Laureate, Directeur, Institut de biologie moléculaire et cellulaire, CNRS and University of Strasbourg, France will speak about “The antimicrobial host of Drosophila: a paradigm for innate immunity”

The lecture is hosted by Dr. Samuel Benaroya, Interim Vice-Principal (Health Affairs), Interim Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, McGill University and Dr. John Dirks, President and Scientific Director, The Gairdner Foundation.
