Alumni Association of Oregon presents "Book Club"

A classic of modern Japanese literature!

Calling all readers - don’t miss our next Book Club meeting. Although the weather’s getting warmer, the McGill Alumni Association of Portland is jumping back to a cooler season with our latest Book Club selection, Yukio Mishima’s "Spring Snow".

The legendary novel explores the clash between traditional Japanese values and the push for westernization during the early 20th century. Please join us as we discuss one of the greatest works by an author who is widely considered to be the most important Japanese novelist of the last 100 years.

The Book Club meeting will once again take place at the Chapel Pub. There will be good food, great conversation and a whole lot of fun. We hope to see you there.
