The Challenges of Defending Human Rights Today, with Margaret Sekaggya

Margaret Sekaggya, UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders will be speaking at an event sponsored by EQUITAS – International Centre for Human Rights Education and the McGill Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism.

Also speaking are two frontline human rights defenders in town to attend Equitas’ annual International Human Rights Training Program:

Pornpit Puckmai, Empower Foundation, Thailand and recipient of the first Ruth Selwyn Bursary for Achievement in Empowering Women and Girls.
