Diversity Week 2011:  The Intersection of Careers and Disability

This semester's Diversity Week will focus on disabilities from job search and career exploration to meeting employers and employees from TD as well as have a discussion with professionals who work within the disabilities community. This event is open to all including our community partners as well as students from other universities and colleges. Don't miss this great event!

Working for and within the Disabilities Community

Come and listen to our interesting panelists who work in different areas of disability. Learn about their career paths, their successes and challenges.


Wednesday November 16th 11:00-3:00 (CaPS Resource Centre - Brown Building)

TD is one of the top Diversity Recruiters in North America. TD makes it their policy to not only actively recruit individuals with disabilities - they also ensure that these individuals are fully supported throughout their employment at the bank.

  • Meet recruiters (11:00-3:00)
  • Demonstration of assistive technologies available to TD employees with disabilities (11:00-3:00)
  • Panel Discussion (Employees with disabilities talk about their experiences working at TD (1:30-2:30)
