EBSI-SIS Symposium on Information Studies

L’École de Bibliothéconomie et des Sciences de l’Information de l’Université de Montréal and the McGill School of Information Studies are pleased to announce the 6th Symposium on Information Studies, March 30 2012 at Université de Montréal.
McGill School of Information Studies students will be making the following presentations:
- Jacob Siefring (MLIS I). The Case for Thomas Jefferson as the Father of American Librarianship.
- Rosemary Le Faive (MLIS II). Semantic Knowledge Representation: What's in it for us?
- Guillaume Boutard (PhD). L'archivistique numérique est-elle soluble dans la préservation numérique?
- Rhiannon Gainor (PhD). Information and Intelligence Metrics: the Challenge of Measuring the Intangible.
- Irene Kitimbo (PhD). L’apprentissage découlant de l’expérience projet: un examen de la connaissance créée, capturée, transférée et réutilisée.
Attendance is open to students and faculty of EBSI and SIS.
