To celebrate Open Access Week (October 19-23, 2009) McGill University Library will host a free screening of RiP! A Remix Manifesto, a documentary film about copyright and remix culture. The film features mash-up artist Girl Talk, as well as Creative Commons founder Lawrence Lessig, Cory Doctorow of BoingBoing.net, and Brazil's former Minsiter of Culture Gilberto Gil.
The screening will be October 19, 2009 at 8pm in Leacock
