Launch of Campaign 2015 and announcement of the financial goal

For more than 20 years, Centraide has marked the launch of its annual fundraising campaign with a joyous public march through downtown Montreal. Please save the date, September 29, for Centraide’s March of 1,000 Umbrellas in your agenda.

This year, we also invite you to join us for a campus-wide rally in advance of the March, beginning at 10:30 am and featuring music, FREE ice-cream, a performance from the McGill cheerleading team, and more!

At noon, McGillians will join a sea of colourful umbrellas in movement! Pass the word along to your friends and co-workers and plan to bring along your McGill or your red umbrellas. Over 20,000 marchers—people who help and people who benefit from the work of Centraide— will come together for the greatest annual demonstration against poverty and exclusion in Greater Montreal.
