Jan Sowa

Jan Sowa (born 1976) is dialectical materialist social theorist and researcher. He studied literature, philosophy and psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland and University Paris VIII in Saint-Denis, France. He holds a Ph.D. in sociology and a habilitation in cultural studies. Jan Sowa conducted research and gave lectures at several universities in Poland and abroad (including, recently, Jagiellonian University and University of São Paulo, Brazil). He is also affiliated with Free University Warsaw.
