Non-linear Stokes phenomenon in the fifth Painlevé equation.
The talk is about the degeneration of the sixth Painlevé equation P6 to the fifth one P5 throught confluence of singularities, the relation between the non-linear monodromy of P6 and the non-linear Stokes phenomenon in P5, and about the corresponding actions on the character varieties of the associeted isomonodromy problems.
