Need practice with interviewing?  Take advantage and sign up for a behavioral style interview. The interview will be 20 minutes after which you will have 10 minutes of feedback. Please make sure that you bring a hard copy of your resume to the interview.

About the Interviewers:

Aurora Pietroniro is a successful Human Resources executive with a solid track record in directing forward looking HR teams as well as consulting business executives on People Strategies. An open minded leader, Aurora has introduced innovative Talent Management programs and implemented best practice sustainable initiatives which have had a positive impact on the bottom line for several organizations. Aurora's expertise focuses on the full Talent Cycle from Branding and Advertising to Talent Acquisition, On-boarding Events, Performance Management, Training and Development, Rewards and Recognition, Succession Planning as well as Culture Change.

Aurora held several strategic executive positions in major corporations over the last 25 years including CAE, National Bank of Canada, and Air Canada.

Aurora holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from McGill University as well as several Leadership and Customer Relations certificates, notably The Executive Conference Board Leadership Council's certificate of "Leadership and Talent Management" and Disney Institute's "Foundation for Excellence Program"

As lecturer, Aurora has presented her Talent Management Strategies at several universities including Ryerson University, UQAM, JMSB and McGill. As well as speaker and panelist at several Corporate Conferences such as The International Human Resources Airline Conference (Paris 2014) and World Conference of Banking Institutes (Toronto) to name a few.

Melanie Spinelli is a passionate and highly motivated HR leader with extensive experience in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment. Melanie has a considerable background in human resources management with a pragmatic approach to business analytics, resulting in a proven track record of increasing employee engagement and decreasing employee turnover. As an HR generalist, Melanie has touched upon many areas of human resource management, such as attraction and recruiting, strategic compensation & benefits, talent development, health and wellness. Melanie is an efficient leader with powerful interpersonal skills, who excels at developing teams that are not only highly performing, but also highly engaged.

Melanie has been working in human resources since 2004, starting in the banking industry before joining LASIK MD. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from John Molson School of Business, and she is a member of l’Ordre des CRHA. Melanie has also been a panelist during the Annual HR Conference organized by the John Molson HR Association, and was a member of the bursary evaluation committee for the Fondation de l’Ordre des CRHA. She has also participated in various interviews on HR related topics, which were published in magazines and newspapers.

Melanie’s passion for developing individuals to reach their full potential has contributed tob hiring and retaining the best talent. Her aim is to teach by example and inspire individuals to find passion in what they do.
