Join us for the 5-day advanced level course of comprehensive microscopy training at McGill University for MLMC hosted by the Advanced BioImaging Facility (ABIF).

Educate yourself on what you can do with light microscopy from lectures presented by experts in the field, complemented by hands-on activities to practice your skills for practical application of these techniques into your research.

The week will kick off on Monday, August 15th 2016 with a poster session presented by the student attendees in the morning and a Welcome to MLMC wine & cheese event for all the course participants. The keynote lecture this year will take place on Wednesday, August 17th 2016 presented by Julie A. Theriot, PhD discussing her topic "Measuring Cytoskeletal Dynamics & Mechanical Forces in Rapidly Moving Cells."
