Keynote lecture for The Ghost in the Machine: Technologies, Performance, Publics, a conference hosted by the Institute for the Public Life of Arts and Ideas, Improvisation, Community and Social Practice, and the Schulich School of Music, in collaboration with the Federation des associations des musiciens educateurs du Quebec.

The conference addresses the relationship between technological innovation, composition, performance and the experience of music.

Professor Theberge is a member of the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture and of the School for Studies in Art and Culture, Carleton University
