In the lead up to what is being called the largest climate march in history, the Peoples Climate March in New York City, come join the Students' Society of McGill University (SSMU)Concordia Student Union | CSU | csu.qc.ca350.orgDivest Concordia and Divest McGill for their first major speaking event of the year, and the only Canadian stop on the Peoples Climate Tour.

Bill McKibben: author, environmentalist, and founder of 350.org

Ellen Gabriel:Human rights activist from Kanehsatà:ke, Ellen has spent years fighting for Indigenous rights and is now fighting the Energy East and Line 9 tar sands pipelines.

As part of their campaigns to divest our universities from fossil fuels, and the larger struggle to stop the Energy East pipeline and halt dangerous climate change, join them for an evening of conversations about the growing movement for climate justice and what we can do to help. The event will be held in the H-110 auditorium.
