Redpath Museum 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C4, CA

Join artist Shilin Hora for a truly unique botanical art workshop. First you will go on an outdoors Seed Hunt together collecting and learning to identify seeds from trees around the Museum such as Ash, Tulip, Catalpa and Northern Kentucky Coffee. Next, using the seeds found, you will move indoors to create your stunning Seed Quilt patch (see photo). Using biodegradable fabric, paper and glue your patches will be assembled to create a large Seed Quilt measuring about 3 m x 2 m.

On Sunday, June 10th participants are invited to view the Seed Quilt as a finished piece and assist with its planting.  Curious fingers of ALL AGES are encouraged and invited. This workshop is suitable for families. In english.
