SSHRC Connection Grants

The purpose of the SSHRC Connection Grant Program is to provide support for events and outreach activities geared toward short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization initiatives.

 

Researchers in social sciences and humanities, arts and literature who are planning to apply to the upcoming SSHRC Connection Grant 2017 competitions are encouraged to attend this information session, which will include:

 

  • Brief presentation about the objectives and application requirements of the SSHRC Connection Grant Program by Joanna Mastalerek and Maureen Donato, Grants Officers, Social Sciences and Humanities;

  • Presentations from Prof. Eugenio Bolongaro (Languages, Literatures, and Cultures) and Prof. Marianne Stenbaek (English) who were successful applicants to the program and/or have served on adjudication committees and will provide potential applicants with information about the peer-review system and strategies for preparing a successful proposal;

  • A question and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process.

Those who are unable to attend or who may not feel comfortable sharing their questions are invited to send their inquiries to maureen [dot] donato [at] mcgill [dot] ca (Maureen Donato) (ext. 2141) or Joanna Mastalerek (ext. 7300) in advance so that they may be included in the session.
