Former executive director of the Quebec Association of Independent Schools (QAIS) and current Head of School at West Island College, Michel Lafrance offers an information session to share tips and tricks on how to get hired.  Topics to be covered include: the individual’s profile, personal branding, preparing for an interview, the interview, and the follow-up. Additionally, Michel will be talking about the differences between working in public schools versus independent schools and will present a portrait of the world of education today and trends for the future (from the perspective of leading independent schools). This is a highly interactive session where many questions are welcomed and encouraged. Cover letter and CV feedback will be provided by Michel Lafrance for those students who attend and send in their documents after the session.
