New building, new generators provide better support for research activities

The new building that stands on Doctor-Penfield Avenue between the Ferrier and Wong buildings houses two powerful generators that will service a dozen buildings on the lower downtown campus. Although building on the sloped site was not without its challenges, the facility was needed to ensure McGill can continue to provide power to those buildings in emergency situations.
