Applications now being accepted for two Resident Fellows of the Americas at CDAS

As a result of generous funding from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), we are pleased to announce the opening of two positions of Resident Fellow in Democratic Governance for  established Bolivian and Peruvian researchers currently residing in Bolivia and Peru. The Resident Fellows at CDAS will be commissioned to write a comprehensive report that strives to integrate Bolivian and Peruvian priorities with CIDA policy prerogatives in order to help generate innovate evidence-based policies for strengthening democratic governance. The award will be for nine months, beginning May 1, 2009.  The Award includes:   a Monthly Stipend of $2250 plus living allowance while in Canada; Air travel to and from Canada, as well as a travel allowance for domestic travel in Canada and the country of origin; $5000 for research-related expenses; Funding for a Research Assistant in Canada and in Bolivia/Peru.
