CADR -IMHA Student Research Awards Recipients

Congratulations to Renee Wang, a dental student who performed a summer research project with the supervision of Dr. Simon Tran and received the first place prize in the Junior Category (undergraduates) of the Canadian Association for Dental Research - Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis Student Research Awards at the CADR Annual General Meeting held in March 2011 in San Diego.

The award recognized her original research on how bone marrow cell extracts can rescue salivary gland hypofunction in mice.
