Congratulations to Stephanie Ballard and Svetlana Puzhko on receiving an FRQS scholarship!

We're proud to announce that two graduate students in our department, Stephanie Ballard and Svetlana Puzhko, were awarded FRQS scholarships! Stephanie Ballard is completing an MSc in Family Medicine and is being co-supervised by Dr. Machelle Wilchesky and Dr. Mark Yaffe. Her project is "The validation of a tool for the detection of elder abuse in long-term care: A feasibility study." Svetlana Puzhko is currently in the MSc program in Family Medicine, supervised by Dr. Julie Bruneau, and will be continuing on to do her PhD with supervisor Dr. Gillian Bartlett on "Considerations for the treatment of depression in obese patients: Prescribing issues." Congratulations to them both!
