FRQS Faculty Awards

This year, a record six SPOT faculty members received funding from the Fonds de Recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS), including three new Junior 1 recipients (Tania Janaudis-Ferreira; Raphael Lencucha; Laurence Roy), and three Senior recipients (Sara Ahmed; Anouk Lamontagne; Isabelle Gagnon). The FRQS Research Scholar and Clinician Research Scholar awards aim to facilitate the recruitment of qualified researchers at either the beginning of their career, or continuing a career in health. The FRQS promotes the continuation of health research in Québec, and aims to ensure the availability of a high caliber scientific workforce in health.
