Jordan de Souza named director of the Ottawa Choral Society

Jordan de Souza,has been named director of the Ottawa Choral Society.  An alumnus of the Schulich School of Music, he was also course lecturer here in the 2011/12 academic year.

Mr. de Souza has been broadcast on the CBC and through the European Broadcasting Union in over 20 countries. He has also been active on the operatic scene, acting asAssistant Conductor and Coach for Opera McGill (2007-11), the Janiec Opera Company (2008-9), and COSI (2010). Mr. de Souza was a Guest Coach with l'Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal in the 2011/12 season.
