Margaret Somerville is first winner of UNESCO ethics prize

Professor Margaret Somerville, DCL'78, Samuel Gale Professor of Law at McGill, is the first recipient of the Avicenna Ethics in Science Prize for "promoting principles and ethical norms to guide scientific and technological development and social transformation."
