From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Du samedi 5 octobre au mardi 8 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Master's Student Benjamin Deschamps receives Conseil des Arts de Montréal award

Benjamin Deschamps, a Schulich School of Music Master's student has been awarded the 'Bourse de Création Jazz' by the Conseil des Arts de Montréal (CAM).  The $5,000 award will be used to help fund the production of his second jazz recording.  The award was announced on March 17, at the opening of the Jazz en rafale concert series.  Deschamps is curently finishing his Master's degree as a student of Professor Joe Sullivan and has also studied with Professors Kevin Dean and Jean-Nicolas Trottier. His graduation recital will take place on May 2 in Tanna Schulich Hall.
