McTavish Street reopens after flooding

Following severe flooding Thursday evening caused by a burst pump in the City of Montreal pumping station on Dr. Penfield Avenue, McTavish Street is now reopened to pedestrian traffic. There is limited vehicle access to McTavish and there is no vehicle access to Dr. Penfield from McTavish until further notice.

Meanwhile, Wilson Hall, at 3506 University Street, remains closed this morning and classes have been moved. Notices will be affixed to doors indicating where classes are being held. More information about Wilson Hall will be posted later today. Email messages are being sent to those affected.

The Redpath and McLennan library buildings are reopening at 8 a.m. Friday morning.

No other buildings are closed. Updates will be posted later today as information becomes available.
