Notice to all Nursing Undergraduate students unable to register for 2009-2010

Published: 2 April 2009

Undergraduate Nursing students may encounter problems when registering.  Several attempts may be required, so please keep trying.

If you're unable to register for Nursing courses, contact the Nursing Timetable Coordinator, Marie-Lee Hendrykowski at info.nursing [at] mcgill.ca with details of the problems encountered and make sure to include all relevant information (name, ID number, course and CRN number, term, MINERVA error code).

For problems with other courses (i.e., courses without the NUR1 prefix), try the following:

  1. Verify that a 'hold' is not indicated on your transcript; this would appear if there is a deficiency on your record (i.e., unpaid fees, missing documents, probationary standing) which will require your follow-up.
  2. Contact the faculty responsible for the course.  Continue your attempts to register until the Add/Drop deadline.  Students should attend class until the end of the Add/Drop period even if not registered.
  3. If you are still unsuccessful, inform the Student Affairs Coordinator by email at celine.arseneault [at] mcgill.ca . Again, include all relevant information (see above). At this point, the Student Affairs Coordinator will help you get registered for your mandatory/required courses.
