Professor Frédéric Bachand receives Advocatus Emeritus title

Published: 21 July 2015

The Barreau du Québec recently announced the names of the lawyers who have received the Advocatus Emeritus (Ad. E.) title this year. We are happy to report several of them are members of the McGill Law community.

The Faculty warmly congratulates Professor Frédéric Bachand, who specialises in domestic and international arbitration, along with alumni Frederick Headon (BCL’96, LLB’96), Antoine Leduc (BCL’96, LLB’96), and David L. McAusland (BCL’76, LLB’77).

The Advocatus Emeritus title is awarded to members of the Bar who have distinguished themselves through a remarkable career, outstanding contributions to the profession or constructive community work.

The official award ceremony will take place in October 2015 in Montreal.
