Schulich Students excel at the Concours d'Art lyrique de la Relève Musicale

 The  Concours d'Art lyrique de la Relève Musicale was held on February 17, 18 and 19 in Québec City.   Three current students were awarded prizes:  tenor Jeremy Scinocca, BMus'19 received 1st Prize, tenor Graeme Linton, B.Mus'19 and bass-baritone Reed Copeland, BMus'17 each received 3rd Prize.  In addition baritone Igor Mostovoi, MMus'17 was engaged by the Opéra national du Rhin, Strasbourg, France for their Young Artists Program for the 2017-2018 season.  

La Relève Musicale was founded in 2006 by  Mr. Reynald Lavoie, with the idea of promoting young musicians and singers from the Quebec City region and the province in general.
